The Dream Maker

The Dream Maker is a wizard.
She dreams a dream
in the shape of a painting
that symbolizes you and your situation.
In this case, the sacrificial lamb,
looking like a cloud, white,
with gold stars, accompanied
by a golden lion, both engaged
in a dance in the night blue sky.

My Mother Ceridwen

The light on the icon,
The way I see her in my dreams,
The core of her at the edge of darkness,
In a magic cauldron always full,
Never exhausted,
That brings her back to life,
Guarded by a golden serpent
Coiled in the shape of an egg,
The world snake marshalling
Inner reserves,
The seed of a new journey,
A glimpse of the mysterious and elusive,
A woman in a wreath made of morning glories,
This is how she lands on the page,
Slanted, looking out in space,
Integrated within me,
Save the blue sky across her face.

Eagle

On the wall of time to come,
                  a window appears.

I open it, let angels in.

      The vortex in his eye
         spins me out of myself,
            infinity held in blue iris,
               closes around me,

      Snatches me in Eagle form,
         resurrects old scars,
            absorbs space and love,
               blossoms into divine silence.

      The universe cannot resist
                   a poet like him.

A house like a ship

I live in a house that’s a ship,
At times on land, at times on ocean.
I will myself into existence,
      Surrender, invite grace in.
I heed the call of the siren.
      On the phantom ship
I don’t know if I’m a wave or a cloud,
      Undine or seagull.
I hang tight to the mast, pulled by winds.
      Few return from the journey.
I now wear the memory of nothingness,
A piece of white sail wrapped like second skin.

A deeper layer of reality

Riding on Montezuma's trail,
I'm one with the horse,
Taking a bite out of life,

The girl walking with me a prophet.
The steep journey leads into the mountains,
The unmanifest, a tremendous future.

Let's explore new territories,
Reach our full potential,
Let God be the doer and embrace Her.

In Peru I visit my grandfather,
Unconditional love.
Everything stems from within,

The wait only preparation.
Actualizing consciousness,
We fuse wisdom and instinct.

In the Nothingness

   I am counting
      the years of my life,
plucking the petals of the marigold.
   I am counting
      the losses of my life,
         blowing kisses in the air.
Perhaps if I cry my tears away
      for what will never be,
         I'll still get to live
            what may become.
And if I may give up
      what I never had,
         I'll experience
            what I never dreamed.
